This week end is part of the Ludlow Festival and I shall be there with Made in Shropshire in the square, see you there!

Patchings, June 2011.

So that was Patchings..........great fun and lots of hard work!  The rain poured down as we were packing up but all done with great humour!

This saturday I will be at the Art Market in Cheltenham and on sundayI will be at the Country Fair at Kinver, see you there.

May 21st 2011

Working hard for Pattchings Art Festival....9th, 10th, 11th & 12th June.  New pics will follow shortly.  I have made some free formed slumped glass fruit bowls, all a bit experimental but great fun to make.  The first one I showed was bought within an hour, that is promising!!

Events for march, April and May

Sunday in Ironbridge was wonderfully sunny and, despite being a Farmers Market, I met many existing customers, and met lots of new ones.  There was only three Art/Craft stalls amongst the Cooks and Farmers but it was a great day out and a chance to meet a whole new customer base!

On Sunday March 27th  I shall be at the Sylvestor Horne Institute with a co-operative of local artists, this is a new venture so come along and support us in the beautifull town of Church Stretton under the Longmynd.

April 2nd sees the first Made in Shropshire event in Ludlow, on the market square. April 9th will be  the regular Fair in the Square with Made in Shropshire in Shrewsbury.

April 16 is the first Arts and Crafts market on the Parade in Cheltenham

Freezing Craft Events

Well, what can one say about this December weather?  Thank you for all of you who braved the ice and snow and collected orders from Cheltenham Arts and Crafts market.  Most of these orders were unpaid for so thanks very much for making the effort, I really appreciate it.

January is set aside to keep the tax man happy and do a bit of Research and Develpment, so watch this space, as they say, for new ideas for 2011.

8-13th  -  The Square in Telford Town Centre.
13th  -  The Square in Shrewsbury. The Made in Shropshire Fair.
19th  -  The Bailey Head. A craft market organized by the Cube Gallery in Oswestry.
20th  -  Ironbridge Crafts in the Square opposite the Ironbridge.

December
3rd to 5th - The Frost Fair at Attingham Park.
4th    -  Much Wenlock Christmas Fair.
11th  -  The Square in Shrewsbury. The Made in Shropshire Fair.
18-19th -  Cheltenham Arts and Crafts Market on the Promenade.

 

PATCHINGS ART,CRAFT & DESIGN FESTIVAL.

Oh dear! I am not the best of bloggers!!  On thursday June 12th I shall be at  Patchings, this festival lasts till 13 June, its seems a huge event and I am looking forward to meeting new friends and hopefully some old faces.  There will be some new designs and some of the old favorites, hope to see you there. For more information try the web site http://www.patchingsartcentre.co.uk/

Spring 2010

Tomorrow, April 10th, is the Fair in the Square in Shrewsbury.  The forcast is good, so I hope to see old and new customers mooching around in the sunshine! see you there.

On sunday I shall be in Much Wenlock under the Guildhall with my glass.  This weekend sees the first Wenlock Poetry Festival.  Carol Ann Duffy will be there as the patron, and many other exciting poets will be reading at various venues.  This promises to be an interesting occasion in Wenlock and the predicted sunshine will surely make for a great weekend!
