GROUNDLAYING

Groundlaying is an old technique for laying down a flat colour over a large curved  area, used in the production of ceramics.

I've had fun trying groundlaying on glass!!

OOPS...due to a technical fault I've not been here for a while! apologies!!

2020

On the first Saturday of every month I shall be in the market square Cirencester.
This is a wonderful old market square in front of the church in the middle of the town that has been recently revamped.

On the second Saturday of the month I shall be in the Square, Shrewsbury. 
The square is also a market space that has been used for many years.

Out of Africa

After working on the new tree designs I've gone back to Africa, it get in the blood you know!

I've been working on these new designs inspired by the wonderfully thoughtful planting of trees on Buildwas Bank, the Ironbridge by-pass.

       28th.             "Showing Off" with the Shropshire Guild of Contemporary Crafts
                             in Ludlow Castle

May  5th.            Market Square in Cirencester.
         12th.          The Square Shrewsbury with Made in Shropshire.

          During the four weekends in May I shall be taking part in the Brighton Open House event,                  this is part of the Brighton Festival.
