DRAGONS

Dan kept asking me for a Ying/Yang dish, I wanted to do a dragon dish, so here is a dish for us both.  I found the image on a royalty free website and redrew it.  The white dragon has his scales already drawn in and the black one has the scales scratched out before firing.

The sad loss of my darling beautiful son Daniel, aged 28, prevents any posts for a while.  I shall put up my diary for August soon. Jane.

MALVERN ART MARKET
Last saturday was so cold but I met so many new wonderfull people and what a charming town Malvern is, lots of independant shops and a very supportive "buy local" culture, many thanks for a memorable day!

                   

FROG FOR MARCH

This large dish is made with 6mm glass so the 3D effects are more pronounced.

The first event of the year! On saturday I shall be in the Square in Shrewsbury with Made in Shropshire. Here are some valentine gifts, makes a change from flowers that only last a day!

New work

Well it's January, the books and tax affairs have been sorted for another year so its time for some new pieces and ideas.

This 46cm platter is designed for serving fish or fishy nibbles.  My fisherman son says it 's Sea Trout!  I have also made some coasters to match, these are painted but I think the platter is left best unpainted so it can go into the dishwasher.
