SHOWING OFF

ummm...not doing very well with the pics, the internet is so slow in Ludlow even the credit card machines did not work! It was great fun and stimulating to be amongst the Shropshire Guild members.

A New Shape

I have made a new shape for the big dishes (400mm).  Many customers asked if the previous shape could be put up on the wall with a wire hanger, it did work but was awkward as the dish was a bit deep.  This new shape will work as a bowl and will be great on the wall with a wire hanger!

The pattern here is another Ottoman design inspired by a visit to Turkey in April.

A Family Celebration

I was asked to produce a dish to celebrate the family tree of an Spanish family where ten siblings had left to seek their fortune.  The dish depited ten birds who had "flown the nest".  This was presented in Valencia....she looks pretty pleased!

Ottoman Designs

After a trip to Turkey I became fascinated with Iznik patterns on pottery bowls and plates.  Here is my modern interpretation.

Fun in January

SOLD
This large Trellis Fruit Bowl is assembled,decorated, fused and then instead of my usual slumping I have sagged it over a mold for a more free feel. Great fun to make.
