Canadian Holiday.

While in a walk in Stanley Park, Vancouver I found this piece of driftwood on a beach where there was evidence of First Nation fishing activity.  Small boulders had been placed to form channels that became pools at low tide and so trap the fish, also visible were signs of a path to drag canoes onto the high tide area.

So here is a piece of driftwood, from an ancient place, combined with a modern material, glass, to made a container.
