This large dish is made with 6mm glass so the 3D effects are more pronounced.

The Square in Shrewsbury, Feb 9th

The first event of the year! On saturday I shall be in the Square in Shrewsbury with Made in Shropshire. Here are some valentine gifts, makes a change from flowers that only last a day!

New work

Well it's January, the books and tax affairs have been sorted for another year so its time for some new pieces and ideas.

This 46cm platter is designed for serving fish or fishy nibbles.  My fisherman son says it 's Sea Trout!  I have also made some coasters to match, these are painted but I think the platter is left best unpainted so it can go into the dishwasher.

SHOWING OFF

ummm...not doing very well with the pics, the internet is so slow in Ludlow even the credit card machines did not work! It was great fun and stimulating to be amongst the Shropshire Guild members.

A New Shape

I have made a new shape for the big dishes (400mm).  Many customers asked if the previous shape could be put up on the wall with a wire hanger, it did work but was awkward as the dish was a bit deep.  This new shape will work as a bowl and will be great on the wall with a wire hanger!

The pattern here is another Ottoman design inspired by a visit to Turkey in April.
